About me

Hi, I am Yidie Chen, but everyone knows me as Tico. I recently received my BFA from the University of Miami. During my undergraduate studies, I concentrated in the areas of graphic design and sculpture. As an artist, I am passionate about working in both 2D and 3D and consider myself a multi-disciplinary artist who enjoys creating in various mediums. I explore both digital and physical modes of creation. My skills range from designing with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for 2D work, and Rhinos to create ceramic, glass, and metal pieces. I am interested in creating artwork that conceptually explores my cultural background and its relationship to the present.
